How does the anonymization work?
You type the patient's name, MR number, date of birth, and phone into their own fields. Before anything is sent for drafting, your browser replaces those exact values — plus anything matching a phone, SSN, email, date, or long ID pattern — with placeholders like [PT_NAME_1]. The mapping back to the real values stays in that browser tab and is never sent. When the draft comes back, your browser puts the real values in. The server refuses any request that still looks like it carries an identifier.
Is my data safe?
Notes are not stored — they are generated, packaged, and downloaded to your device. We keep only your account, a count of notes generated, and the agency name for billing. Being straight with you about the limit: pattern-based de-identification reduces exposure, it does not meet HIPAA Safe Harbor on free text, and NoteWizard does not currently operate under a BAA. Treat it as a drafting aid inside your own workflow, and follow your agency's policy on outside tools.
What agencies are supported?
Leo Home Health, Happy Hearts, HealthElect, and Loyalty are built in, each with its own note formatting. If you work for an agency that is not on the list, send us a blank copy of its visit note and we will add it — that is usually a same-week change.
What if my agency is not listed?

In the meantime the closest existing template still produces a usable note you can adjust.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month to month with no contract and no per-seat pricing. Cancel and you keep access through the end of the cycle you already paid for. Notes you have already downloaded are yours and stay on your device.
How accurate are the generated notes?
Every clinical value in the note is one you entered — vitals, pain score, blood glucose, your assessment findings. NoteWizard never invents, estimates, or fills in a measurement, and a field you leave blank is documented as not recorded rather than guessed. What it writes is the prose: your findings restated in clinical language, and a patient-education paragraph on the topic you chose for that visit.
Do I need to review the notes before submitting?
Yes, every time. These are drafts. You are the licensed clinician signing the record, so read each note, correct anything that does not match the visit you performed, and sign it yourself. NoteWizard saves you the typing, not the clinical judgment.
